You can create tasks for yourself and assign tasks to others or be assigned a task by someone else in your organization. You can also set an expiration date, create a recursive task, link pages and reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to use the User Task?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Step 1<\/strong>. Go to Departments &gt; Administration &gt; Application Setup &gt; Users<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; max-width: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metaoption.com\/wp-content\/themes\/metaoption\/images\/aw1.jpg\" alt=\"Microsoft Dynamics NAV\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2. <\/strong>Click the \u201cNew\u201d button to add a task.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; max-width: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metaoption.com\/wp-content\/themes\/metaoption\/images\/aw2.jpg\" alt=\"Microsoft Dynamics NAV\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3<\/strong>. After you click the \u201cNew\u201d button, it will open a page where you can enter the details for the task. Fill in Subject, Task Description, Due Date, Start Date, and Priority. Enter a value in \u201cUser Assigned to\u201d field and optionally select a value in \u201cLink Task to:\u201d for either Page or Report then set the page id or report id where you want to link the task.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; max-width: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metaoption.com\/wp-content\/themes\/metaoption\/images\/aw3.jpg\" alt=\"Microsoft Dynamics NAV\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4.<\/strong> You can also create a recurring task by clicking \u201cRecurrence\u201d action.<br \/>\nFill in \u201cRecurring Start Date\u201d, a formula for the repeating task and the number of occurrences then click \u201cOK\u201d. In this example, we used to perform the task daily for 5 days starting on 2\/8\/2019.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%; max-width: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metaoption.com\/wp-content\/themes\/metaoption\/images\/aw4.jpg\" alt=\"Microsoft Dynamics NAV\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>When you set the occurrences at 5, the system will generate 5 tasks from the recurring start date. After clicking \u201cOK\u201d, the newly added tasks will show on the \u201cPending User Tasks\u201d page.
