Try out the free, standalone, GOIS mobile application to place and manage orders for goods. You can track sales and inventory from your android-based mobile. The application uses a SQLite database to record the details of all your transactions. This information is stored on your hand-held device and can be viewed using the different reports of GOIS.

The GOIS application comprises 5 modules, they are:

• The Order Module
• The Products and Category Management Module
• The Inventory Module
• The Sales Module
• The Reports Module

The Order Module

Using this module, you will be able to create a goods order by simply specifying the list of items that you require, along with the quantity of each item. You can create your list whenever you find time and mail it to your local store, and fetch the goods back home at a convenient time. This application is especially useful to office-goers who can plan their essential shopping in advance. GOIS also helps regular shop keepers and traders to track their stocks and maintain inventory levels based on their daily sales pattern. Traders can directly create and update inventory details from this module, once they receive the goods.

The Products and Category Management Module

Your commodities / products and their categories can be defined and maintained using this module. This is the main list of items related to your trade, and you will be able to record and view orders, sales, inventory details of these items. We provide you with a default list of items and categories, which you can use as they are. You could also create your own master details of items and categories. Category definitions are not mandatory, but they will help you to manage your tasks better. In future, you will also be able to capture custom product details using this module.

The Inventory Module

Product inventories are handled using this module. You will be able to define and edit quantity and price details (sales and purchase) for each item. These prices will determine the value of your transactions and help you keep track of your revenues. Inventory details can also be updated from the Order Module.

The Sales Module

You will be able to record product sale details using this module. You will be able to ‘Track Sale by Inventory’ or ‘Track Sale by Product’ depending your mode of operations. ‘Track Sale by Product’ option is useful to record a sale where quantity need not be specified.

The Reports Module

All GOIS transactions are recorded and can be viewed in the form of reports, whenever the need arises. We are also working towards offering Web-based reports in future.
